The hook here is the homemade butter pretzel for me but the food here is legit!. On our drive back to San Diego this is our go to pit stop refueling restaurant and here's is why. The homemade butter pretzel is made from scratch. One chef is responsible for making this dish and he is making it so delicious you taste the difference between places that serve a frozen heated pretzel version. Yes foodies there is a difference! The next dish I that gets bragging rights is the devil eggs. Fresh, made from scratch delicious! There is a lot of sports on the TVs and the vibe is chill. We usually park in residential area near the restaurant. Drinks are great and the service is excellent!

1/8/25 - Got there just in time (before the dinner rush); there was 12 of us (annual friends gathering for my goddaughters' (4 year) death anniversary). They accommodated us right away with friendly smiles & how we asked; 4 kids at next table next to 8 us adults. Server was great, attentive, suggestive & sweet. Almost everyone's food was tasteful, drinks flowing, spacious & all around a good time! Trivia night going on. Parking's ok.

Love this place for casual beer and great food. They have all the usual dishes you get at a brewery but this place takes it to another level with seafood stew! Warm and full of really good clams shrimps and salmon in a creamy curry sauce.

For brunch, was trying to decide between Local Tap House and Rye's & Grind. I like the vibe of the place. The server didn't pay much attention to me but told all the other patrons how hung over she was from her birthday celebration.

One of my favorite spots to visit when I'm in Oceanside. I used to meet my mom down here when she lived in Carlsbad. They're dog friendly and always so nice. I love the indoor/outdoor vibe and it's so relaxed and beachy. The food and drinks are great and I always find something tasty to try.

Update review. We went on a Sunday evening. It was very busy and bustling in the restaurant. The servers were very polite and accommodating. We got a seat outdoor and was tended to immediately. They are dog friendly as well and offered our dog pets and a water bowl The ambiance was chill and relaxed. I ordered the fireman's roll. And my hubby got himself a burger Prior to that, we were at another restaurant and we left to come here. Our food was delicious and hot and we had some good drinks. We had a great night!

Wanted tacos, searched around me and Calamari tacos sounded interesting, so we ended up here. Ordered the Calamari Tacos and Street corn chicken empanadas. Calamari tacos had great flavor. It was just too big for me to eat like a taco. The empanadas were delicious, small spice bite (if you like hot) There is lots of space, outdoor and indoor and bar seating. Service was quick and friendly. Great for a night out with a group.

We came here on a Sunday around noon with a group of 12 people and we were able to get seated right away with no reservations. They seated us outside in a large booth which was a wonderful setup for the group to chat altogether. I wish I caught the waitress's name because she was really fantastic! She was super friendly and was very helpful with suggestions on what to order. What was great about this place was that there was a good assortment of dishes to choose from. There were both healthier and heavier options for the group to choose from with all the dishes being slightly more unique than an average brunch place. I ended up getting the short rib hash. Big points for the short rib being juicy as many places I've ordered short rib from can be very dry. The dish was good but definitely one-note in flavor. I needed hot sauce and salsa to liven up the dish because the sauce/gravy that comes with the dish made it a little bland. My husband ordered the short rib French dip and really enjoyed it. I stole quite a bit of his fries because they tasted pretty darn good (crispy on the outside and soft in the inside). I would say the food was overall good and would recommend coming here with a big group since it can cater to different people's taste. I wouldn't say the food was overly noteworthy or remarkable. In our group of 12, I didn't hear folks exclaiming how delicious the food was but I also didn't hear anyone complain about their food. The prices were also really good with the short rib hash being only $18, which I feel is less than what I would see in Orange County or LA. Giving this place 5 stars because of the great service, good options, overall good taste, great price, and being able to accommodate a big group last minute.

We were visiting Oceanside and looking for some local flavor. LTH sounded perfect. We were a group of 8 on a Sunday night with no reservation. The wait was less than 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Many in our group had questions about the food or drinks, and our server had all the answers. I'm not a drinker, but there is a wonderful selection of craft beers. Wow, and many of the cocktails sounded delicious. We sat at the snide/outside bar which made our conversations much easier. It's exactly what you would expect from a place with this name. TVs had baseball and sports on. My wife and I split the Ahi Tuna & Shrimp Farro Fried Rice with a sunny side up egg on top. This is a very tasty dish. The fried rice honey hot sauce and bacon tasted delicious. As I looked around the table, all the dishes were ample and judging from the way the plates were cleaned up, there were no complaints. If you're in Oceanside, be sure to check this place out.
